Journalling, but better
I have written in dairies and journals for many years, they have been a place I could share and process my thoughts and feelings, a way to vent when I have been angry, a place to play around with words and imagery and somewhere I could figure a way through life's challenges. As a integrative therapist who loves to tailor how I work to each individual client, this also applies to writing. It does mean that there will be times I never mention writing or journalling because that wouldn't work for the person in front of me. But for those who it would benefit I enjoy finding just the right way for them to make use of writing.
On this page you will find some examples of how I have used writing personally or with clients, and there are few hints and tips for you to use either in conjunction with therapy, or on your own if you're not working with a therapist.
